T-Stat Housing without heater hose port?

is there any tstat housings out there that will work on a 4.0 that does not have the heater hose port, currently have a hose looped but looking to completely getting rid of it

Fluid has to circulate otherwise it will boil on the hot-spots in the engine. If you get rid of the heater hose then you will need to drill a pretty big hole in the thermostat (1/4" or so at least) so that fluid can still move.

Tstat has a hole in it, and the hose i got looped has been blocked for the past 3 years without issue. Just trying to get rid of the unessarsery crap around the motor

Not sure if there's enough material, but could drill and tap for a pipe plug
