hey everybody
Well its about that time...after almost 10 years of wheeling the XJ I'm starting to get some rust issues. Fortunately the rest of the jeep is in great shape rust wise. I would like to cut the rockers out and replace them with 2x4 or 2x6. I haven't found a great write up yet. the ones on MadXJ are all disabled now, and it seems all the other ones I find start with cutting some rocker out, and then one picture of the finished produce.
my main questions are whats best to do at the pinch weld. Ive seen some people cut it all the way out, and others mention leaving it.
