The ignition coil connector wires are losing their insulation at the connector. I thought I could cut out the connector and replace with a new one, but NAPA wants $79 for this part. O'Reilly's wants $100. That's insane. Can these be opened up and repaired? Or grab one from the junkyard? I thought it would be a $5-10 part.

Pre-2000 or 00-up with coil packs? Junkyard, or part out jeep. Cut the connector and splice in new. But in theory can fix it.
