00 cherokee 4.0 auto noise like heat shield

My jeep makes a noise like a lose heat shield but can't find any loose only makes noise when cold and in gear.any one have any ideas. thanks
 
There is an inspection plate for the TQ converter? But, a sorta-common issue is loose TQ converter bolts. Check those.

Listen to transfer case in case chain is dragging. (stretched)

I just had to rebuild my NP231 transfer case due to stretched chain. Rattle noise is very similar if the chain hasn't stretched too far apart.
 
The jeep has 125 ,000 on it do they stretch that early? The noise stops after trans warms up only does it from like leaving a light then stops
