Front Bumper

Are there front bumper brackets for the xj? The guy I got mine from put a "custom" bumper in the and welded it all sorts of ways, and I'm pretty sure if there were brackets, he cut them off. I'd like to install a new oem matte black one, but am unsure if there should be brackets.

Forgot to mention I have an '89. All I can find are' 97 and up brackets

97-up brackets will bolt-in. Of course, a 97-up bumper is required to fit.
