Four Seasons blower motor noise..?

Just got done replacing my blower motor with the Four Seasons 75712.

It whines on settings 1 and 2, and makes a clicking noise(sounds like it's rubbing something) on settings 3 and 4. Not sure if I got a bad one, or if I am missing something.

Surely someone else has had the same issue?

pull the motor/wheel and power it from the battery. If the motor/wheel assembly is bad, it will make the same noises. If the installation depth is incorrect, or there is something inside the housing for the assembly, it will be quiet until it's put back into it's home.

P.S. hold on tight when powering it up....... it can get away from you pretty quickly!!
