1996 XJ 4.0 auto fuel pump module

I'm working on my step brothers 1996 XJ 2 door 4.0 with an auto trans. The fitting on the pump unit where the fuel line connects to the tank rotted off. Does anyone know where to get one of these units? I can find no listing for the 1996 with the 4.0.

You have a "basta*d" fuel system.

I would recommend pulling the fuel module, completely disassembling it, then take it to welder and have it repaired.

The thought crossed my mind , but most of the top of the unit is just rust. Not enough good material to work with..lol
