Locker function question

mako my day

I am running a Yukon Grizzly locker in my D30. I understand when axles break, it is due to the tires spinning, and one grabs hard traction (example-after a bounce)

Here is my question:::
When climbing a 3' vertical rock on drivers wheel, the passenger tire does not have any forward motion, but the driver tire rolls up the rock.

Does this bind up the axles since the driver tire is rolling and the passenger is not?

Is this where chromo axles come into play?

That doesn't make any sense. With a locker in the front, both wheels should spin at the same rate under power. Either you have a broken locker or a broken axle shaft. Or you just can't tell the passenger tire is moving.
