Front end whine (video)

I posted a thread earlier about front axle u-joints and whether or not greaseable joints were better.

I found a clip on youtube of an XJ that makes the SAME noise as mine. I believe its coming from the front end, and is what leads me to believe the joints are bad.

So whats your point? Replace the u joints...

When mine went out, I could jack up one side and spin the tire by hand and hear them squeal.

Check the bolt that holds the yoke on... mine did that before and that was loose... also check the ring gear bolts

U-joints are in the mail. Just wanted to see if anyone thought it was something else. :roll:
