converting 88 2wd mj to 4wd question

I have a dam good deal on a 88 MJ but its only 2wd. I have a complete 98 xj sitting in my garage. How hard would it be to put my auto tranny and t-case into it?
I dont want to hear how its easy to just get a 4wd one. Its a great deal and i already have the parts I need. How hard will it be and what all will I need? Thanks guys

sounds like you've got all the parts you need to make it happen, except the rear driveshaft.

the hardest part is having a 98.. but if you look into the trans wiring you can definitely make it work. if you dont care about 4wd lights you could probably swap everything in one weekend.

what you should do is swap the fenders wiring harness doors dash engine ECT and make a 98 MJ. Keyless entry on an Mj would be sexy
