C4x4 RockRail install

No,.... you did a fine job with the pics and write-up. I'm considering either purchasing a set myself OR fabbin'-up something similar. I like the look of tubular VS 2x4 for rocker panel protection. A guy at work has a 2001 60th Anniversary XJ, he's beaten the crap out of it! :explosion :gee: But his C4x4's seem to be holding-up fine (need some paint)!

If I where you I would start worring about all that rust thats starting to form underneath your XJ.

YA that rust isn't something to play around with. Pull the carpet up and have a look at the floor. Looks like your got yourself some problems with water leaking, your you live in the rust belt and don't clean off the road salt. Also look around the front leaf spring mount. Juice
