00 Power lock issue

I did a search and did not see the exact problem I am having..here goes:

I was having a problem with the passenger side window not functioning from either the passenger or driver side switch....I figured it was one of the two. Then, a new problem began last week on the driver's side, the power locks would only unlock..not lock.

So, I ordered the Dorman replacement driver's side switch and replaced. The window issue is fixed, however; the lock function on the driver's side worked once or twice, but now it is doing the same thing. It will only unlock? Thoughts?

Clean and lubricate the key lock and door latch mechanisms. Use throttle body cleaner and a light oil. WD-40 is neither a cleaner nor a lubricant.

Inspect the door wire harness. Look for any wire splices that may have failed, and look for any pinched wires or chafed wire insulation.
