3" rear stretch

I've been contemplating stretching the xj to get a little more clearance at the rear doors, and improve departure angle. I have a set of waagoneer rear springs, which would push the axle back 3" if I reuse the stock front hanger. I will relocate the rear hanger about 4" back. I was wondering if anyone has done this? Clearance issues? Fuel tank? Any info would be appreciated.

Depends on what axle, diff cover, etc. I am pushed back about 1.5" with a 14 bolt with a solid diff cover and it will just touch the tank.
