I have a 89 cherokee I was driving to work today and the truck was popping through the intake when I would try to accelerate. It was really low on power. I noticed my volt gauge was at around 9.5 or 10 volts. Before I got to work the volts came back up to normal and it started running fine. It has done this a few times before. I have a new alternator, new battery, new 5-90 cables, new clean grounds and connections, new ignition switch,new solenoid, 4ga. wire from alt. to battery. The battery is never dead or anything just starts popping through the intake. My only guess is maybe the headlight switch. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thank you.
