all of you that don't get ODF updates- Check it below.

Hi Everyone,

Effective 1:00 AM on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 the Tillamook State Forest will enter an Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) 3.

At that time the following rules will apply until further notice:

· ALL OHV trails in the Browns Camp, Jordan Creek, Diamond Mill, Trask, and Upper Nestucca areas are CLOSED.

· ALL operation of OHVs in the Tillamook State Forest OHV areas and the Upper Nestucca is limited to maintained gravel roads only.

· ALL personal chainsaw use is prohibited in the Tillamook State Forest.

The trails will re-open when the IFPL drops back down to a Level 2 or a Level 1. I will send out an e-mail and update the TSF website when the IFPL drops back down and trails open.

Thanks for your help in keeping the Tillamook State Forest safe from wildfires!

Ha Dustin, way to be wrong!

Glad they got the forest opened back up. There was almost a huge fire started by an abandoned stolen set on fire up at Rogers last week but a couple passers by were able to keep things under control till the FD got there. Would've been bad...
