Looks like I'm going to be in need of a new set of pre-cats for my '01 XJ. The P0432 code has been on/off/on again for several months. I've replaced the O2 sensor and that did nothing. Also, I've noticed that when I accelerate hard f/a stop I get that rattling tin can sound coming f/the front. Sounds like pre-ignition but I'd say it's more likely the pre-cat making the noise.
Has anyone here replaced their pre-cats and if so, where'd you get the parts? Considering also adding in a decent header when doing the swap (might as well take advantage if I'm going to be replacing parts anyway) so what'd you use there?
