Reloaded to work

Cut off the welded piece. Pound the engine side of the frame rail flat as possible. Use a hunk of steel to strike so you don't make lots of hammer dimples. Drill a few holes in a chunk of 1/4" steel and use that inside the frame rail with a slide hammer to pull out the dents from the wheel well side. Plate the engine side of the frame rail (or both sides) and sleeve the bumper mounting bolt holes.

thats wat we came up with today. im also guna strengthen the other side with 1/4 in plate. pretty much remaking the front like a tank!

1/4" seems a bit much, do your best to never hit anything with the jeep afterwards, as it wont crumple at all with 1/4" plate....

but then again, desperate times call for desperate measures.
