So I just did my axle shaft u joints yesterday as they were getting pretty bad. Got the shafts back in, torqued the hub nut to correct torque and the bolts holding the hub on as well. Bolted spacers back on and torqued them to. Then threw wheel on. Well today as Im driving around i hear this really weird soung. When I hit the break and begin to slow down it sound like dry rubber twisting. Like something isent greased right. It sounds really bad. Just like when you have rubbing in something and its dry. Sounds just like that. Have no idea what it is. Get louder as I slow down to. What could it be? I have plenty of grease in my control arms, just greased them awile back, ball joints, TRE and trac bar to. I have no idea what it could be.
