98 dakota steering hoses swappable?

I'm about to order a 98 dak box but was wondering if the steering hoses from the dak will work in the 01 xj too? They seem to be $20 for each hose while the xj hoses are around $13 each.

I got a xj steering box from Advance two years ago and it now has 4-5 inches of play in it. Terrible steering boxes. The first one had slop it in right off the bat and now the 2nd one has failed. I'm going to Napa this time.
