Dark Baltic Blue?

Anyone have 1988, 89 Dark Baltic Blue?

I had an 89 XJ with Baltic Blue. But I can't remember just how dark it was.

I want to paint my current XJ rallycrosser dark baltic and add red/white stripe graphics for a patriotic racecar scheme.

Is the baltic blue enough for that to work, or could it get mistaken for black?

ps, If you know of any red-white-blue XJ photos, push them my way. I have a tentative layout, but always interested in what others have done.

It's pretty dark. I have an MJ not an XJ. I put black fender flares on it and painted below the trim black and you can't tell it. You can see the contrast in this photo better than in person. This was a freshly painted fender. I love the color and am planning to repaint the rest of the truck asap.
