low beam wont work

my drivers side low beam wont work. passenger low beam does, and both high beams work. I have changed the headlight assembly and changed the socket and still no low beam. I am now lost. :smsoap:

Your headlight harness might have pooped out. Mine did the same a year ago. I made a new loom with heavier gauge wire and now run h4 bulbs. Might be the same issue for u. Best of luck!

First off check your fuses for the drivers side low beam(seperate from the passenger low beam):

(number 16 on the top right)


I had a similar issue recently with the pass low beam, turned out that at the headlight harness connector(by the airbox) I wasn't getting power from the fuse. Rather than try to find a break between the fuse box and the connector I just ran a jumper wire from the drivers to the passengers low beam.

1. Go to front of vehicle.

2. Probe hot lead wire for low beam circuit at the headlamp connector.

3. Continue probing that wire back along the harness until you find power.

4. Repair fault.

5. Have a cold drink--another job well done.
