I got the new to me 89 ready for the road after fixing oil leaks. new rear main seal, valve cover, oil filter o-rings and so on. i picked up this rig for 400.00 from a dealership that got it on trade in from a couple that towed it behind their motor home form when they bought it new in 89. 212785 on the clock but after pulling the rear main out the bearings looked like new. my guess that the motor has way less miles then that. after going over the rig i found this in the console.

what was it used for??????? the silver cable goes to the back under the rear seat :dunno:

the rig cleaned up nice after a buff job and a repaint on the side trim.

Better follow the wires. On my old 98' the transceiver portion was still under the pass side carpet. I only found it when I got water in the interior. Boy was that sucker HOT.
