i have a 93 automatic with the np231 will it bolt up to a 98 auto that currently has the all wheel drive selec-tract case with out problems

.... but IIRC, you will want to change the TC shift gate so the shift lever stops in the correct detents and I think you will need to change the output speed sensor to match the vehicle it is going into.

it may be a stupid question but whats IIRC.. are the input splines the same or will i just have to pull them to find out ?? i have the np231 in my parts jeep i have a guy wanting the t-case his is the 98. i just want to make sure it will work before we strike a deal.
