Buying new seats

I am replacing my front seats in my 99 xj sport and i am wondering what years and models are a direct bolt up to my frames OR what will bolt in directly. Thanks

I think the pedestals changed 94/95 or 95/96, so safe to say for sure 97+ would be direct bolt in.

1995.5-2001 XJ seats use the same bolt pattern and floor bracket. As regularly posted in past threads on the same topic, ZJ and WJ Grand Cherokee front seat frames will bolt onto the 1995.5-2001 XJ Cherokee floor brackets.
