Offset transmission mount

1998 5 speed XJ
I got the Daystar transmission mount : http://www.quadratec.com/products/76058_831.htm
I figured this is what I needed since it was in the year range. I took out the old stock one and it's offset by about 1.5". I looked again and found this one: http://www.quadratec.com/products/76058_844.htm
It seems to be the one I need but the year range goes to 97. I want to make sure this is the one I need before I shell out another $60. Anyone have any input? I compared the old vs new one and the old one is higher than the new one but nowhere near 3" high.

the 3" is what you need, the 1.5" mount is for a yj, quadratec is retarded

Actually, the determining factor whether it is a 3" or 1 1/2" mount is the exhaust mounting.

If you have the heavy steel plate that attaches to the bottom of the transmission and the exhaust hanger is part of that plate you need the 3" mount:
