The major difference would be in the location of the MAP sensor. IIRC, the '96 and newer were all the same, having the MAP on the side of the TB, where earlier models had it hanging on a bracket off the firewall above the valve cover.
There will also be minor differences in the harness plugs and sensors between '96 to '01, but the throttle bodies should be identical between '96 to '01.

I saw a thread that said TB's from '92 to '96 match for the 4.0 HO motor. These are 62mm TB's and the intake manifold port is 63mm from what I've read. I'm hoping that a stroker builder / owner who used an aftermarket TB might have the OEM one setting around thats available.
