Ford 8.8 swap

I'm doing an 8.8 swap into my xj in Feb. and out of all the threads I've read, I can't seem to find anything addressing the length of the driveshaft. Will it need to be lengthened or shortened. I'll be putting in a SYE for the 242. Other than this, I'm pretty well set as to what to get and what to lookout for.

why dont you just put in a D44?

Since you'll need a new driveshaft for your SYE - why not measure what you need once the 8.8 is in place - ?

Of course, this all will depend on the donor vehicle for your 8.8 (the off set on the Exploder and the yoke adapter make it almost a straight swap)
