Images shouldnt burn into LCD tvs... Supposedly they fixed that problem.

I've seen this exact add on at least 5 different tech sites, it's a hoax. It is still amusing though.

It doesn't happen with LCDs, it was a problem with tube based sets.

Hahaha funny add, even the irony of it is funny.
The fix for the problem actually was the "screensaver" many years ago on computer monitors. CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) style monitors and TVs will have an image burned into the screen if it stays there for a long period of time. Devices such as Oscilliscopes still have this problem but TVs these days that are "thin" such as LCD, plasma, led, etc. all wont have this problem because they are not CRT. Oh and CRTs are fun to implode by hitting on the back :eyes: Sorry for the geeky tech lesson.
