Blinkers not shutting off automatically

99 4.0 auto.
Added cruise. Everything works, but the blinkers dont shut off automatically anymore. Anyone know if the automatic shutoff feature is a part of the MFS or the clock spring?

It's part of the multi function switch - that little white tab that sticks out of the back of the switch rides on the column somewhere. When the wheel turns past the center position, it smacks the white tab and cancels the blinkers.
