Door lock cables

I'm tryin to get the two driver front door lock cables off without breaking the plastic connectors. What is the best way to get them off without snapping them. Does advanced or anyone sell these plastic connectors ?? 01 sport xj

Yea, you gotta poke them out with a screwdriver... without breaking them.
get a good light in there. I did it with my door off.

I usually just push on the back side of them with my fingers. Then again, I've taken them off many times now. Otherwise, insert a small flat screwdriver between the rod and the clip and twist. The clip grabs the rod the way your hand would hold a can of beer...
