O.K. folks here is the official post:

The mud slide on Hwy6 has been cleared. There was another small one today, but they don't see it as a major issue. Soooooo, we are deffinately on!

For those interested in going to sand lake for the day and possibly the night friday: we will meet at the Hayden Meadows GI joes at 9:15am and leave around 9:30am http://maps.yahoo.com/py/maps.py?addr=1140+N+Hayden+Meadows+Drive&csz=Portland+OR+97217&country=US&tarname=

For those just going wheelin saturday we will meet at 10am at the Browns camp camp ground. (i am planning on camping overnight sat night as well)

We will figure out camping when we get there depending on weather and number of people etc....

PLEASE come prepared! Tow points, all weather gear, etc. Plan for the worst as it shall be NASTY!

Please post here only if you are for sure showing, so no one gets left behind. If you are a maybe, don't post till you are for sure. (use the other thread for questions and comments) Thanks.

looks like rain, rain, and a lil more rain is in the forcast. 97141 is the zip for lee's camp store.

Are there any local motels near the sand lake and browns point. My ol' lady and kid arent much into rough in it.

Well, there is Tillamook (it's a city) really close to Sand Lake. But as far as a motel by Browns Camp, your best shot is Tillamook.

I think we are going to skip Sand Lake and just head down to Browns Camp Friday morning.
