Will a 1999 XJ wiring harness work in a 2000XJ

Have a chance to pick up a 2000 XJ in great shap with 42,000 miles. Theft recovery so they got a little happy under the dash. Found a 99XJ complete totaled. need to use some of the wiring and seats. Any body know if this will work?

Ah... you need to be a bit more specific regarding what wiring you need. For example, the ignition coil wiring is different so that wouldn't work. If the 2000 is a CA emisisons model, it will have 4 O2 sensors and wiring to match.

Interior dash harness will work underhood will not as 2k was when they went to the coil pack system.

It's all under dash, the jeep runs and drives. no seats though.
