Foglight Switch

So after getting my XJ and wiring my Hella 500's into the factory wiring harness, so I can use the factory switch...they now don't work...yay...not. they worked for about a month...I use them all the time...did I burn out the switch or the relay?

try jumping the relay. If I were you I would wire them directly to the switch so you can use them with your high-beams on

i believe the switch is only rated for 55 watts. maybe u blew the fuse?

Thats what I though but the stupid simplistic POS factory manual doesnt have a listing for the foglight fuse...POS...time for Haynes.
The thing is...they worked intermittently for a little bit before dying completely...a blown fuse would just blow....

fog lamp fuse should be between the radio and the rear window defroster switch so sayeth the book
