I'm gunna be regearing my 44s before I throw em in and I'm looking for some input on what would be a more desirable gear ratio for 35's (with a possibility of 36's or 37's in the future). I'm between 4.88s and 5.13s. School me

the answer to any gearing question = as deep as the axles can take

If you got a HP44, go with some 5.38's
If you got a LP44, go with some 5.88's

i has 35's and 5.38's

its awesome

drive it everyday

it sees 800 mile highway trips regularly

contrary to what the internet tells you im not at 8000 rpms doing 55

I run 35's and 4.88's and I would have gone deeper if I could. To bad the D30 only allows for 4.88's.

I would go with 5.13's or 5.38's if I were you.

Well now it looks like I'm between 5.13's and 5.38's lol

Keep em comin

go as deep as you can fit
especially if youre going bigger in tire size
min 5.13s
if you can do 5.88s do em
i have 4.88s with 33s
wish i had 5.13s
or 5.38s
or 5.88s
someday...
but i have a 30 front
since you have the 44 you might as well gear once
youll kick yourself in the butt for not going deeper
5.13s will be nice with 35s
but so will 5.38s
and 5.38s will be nicer with 37s
i am wondering how my power loss will be with 4.88s and 35s when i finally ditch the 33s

I have D44's front and rear and run 35's. I do hard techical trails with a 4.7l stroker with an AW4 and have never needed any deeper gears than 4.56's. I get 21mpg on the highway. The stroker has superior low end torque which allows the taller gears.

Yeah go 5.38! Ive got 5.13's in my DD W/ 35's. Wish i did 5.38 cause now im getting 37's. But really you will be fine either way.
