I got a Draw-Tite 2" receiver hitch. It currently has a tube bumper welded onto the top of it, but that could easily be cut off to use the hitch alone.

The corners have been trimmed and smoothed out a bit since these pictures, as there is no more tire carrier on it. The tubes are 2" 3/16 wall with 1/4" plate on the back. D-rings are included -- everything was welded up professionally.
