8.25 bearing pre load tool

Not sure if this is the right place, but here goes.

I'm looking to make a tool to adjust the preload on my 8.25 diff bearings.

I have found out that the pre load adjuster is 36mm nut size. Is this true?

Am I also right in thinking that the hub nut on the Dana 30 is also 36mm?

If they are both 36mm then it should be easy to make the right tool for the job.

Cheers

Toby

Yes, they are both 36mm. I welded a nut on both ends of an old tie-rod. Make two, it will make adjustments much easier. JIM.
