Stock Wheel Weight Limit?

Here's my situation. I've got a boat trailer with 235 75R15 tires and 15" wheels that match the bolt pattern on the XJ. My XJ happens to have stock wheels (the gold honeycomb ones) with 235's on them. The trailer needs new tires, and to save myself some time, I was thinking of putting the Jeep's wheels and tires on the trailer and buying new ones for the XJ.

My question is....a stock XJ weighs just over 3,000 lbs and my trailer with the boat is right around 7,000 lbs. Can the stock XJ wheels support the extra weight, or should i stick with the trailer wheels?
