24d knuckels on 4wd?

the knuckles on my 2wd comanche are different for sure. They use a spindle and normal tapered cup/cone wheel bearings. I would imagine the 88 cherokee would be similar.

On the newer 30's like on the GC they were the same when I looked at the JY, they seemed to just use a stub shaft to hold the unit bearing together.

some of the 2wd xj's had spindles, but others had the same knuckles as the 4wd, but with a dummy stub going throught the bearing and torqued down. you'll hafta pull the wheel off the one in the junkyard to tell which one you're lookin at.
good luck!
