Crankcase vent tube

After searching and searching for a pcv valve I found out my 90 w/ 4.0 does not have one. I am getting a lot of oil in the air filter so I did some digging around and it appears the back vent tube must be clogged. Is this a piece I can simply blow out with an air compressor? I cannot find a new tube for sale as I don't know the specific name.

the baffles in the valve cover could be clogged up to.

blow out not really that easy..

new one. go to the parts store(not the dealer) and ask them to take out the Dorman/motormight book book. If they know what a book is anymore. lol It will be in the picture book under the emmission stuff.

just looked it up it is
Dorman p/n 46005

hope this helps enjoy

yes, just pull the tube from the grommet and unclog it. do a search for blow-by and ccv. napa has the ccv parts as well as the dealership.

blow-by is a very common problem.

Make sure the orifice in the intake manifold is clear so it can supply vacuum. Make sure the line running from the intake manifold to the rear of the valve cover is clear.
