removing tcase

So this past weekend my dad and I pulled the tranny from the parts jeep along with the tcase. The only thing is that i dont want to run the 242 thats attached to the tranny right now, we just spent an hour trying to get is off, With no luck. Whats the easiest way to remove a tcase with only hand tools??

Why isn't it coming off? I've pulled a couple just using manual wrenches and busting a couple knuckles.

Im not sure, i took all the bolts that hold the tcase to the tranny off. Tryed using a hammer and chisle to separate the two but they wont budge.

Did you get the nut above the transmission mount? Also, you should be removing nuts not bolts. Then it is a straight pull.
