'89 4.0, AW4

My headlights seem to have quit on me. I still have flash (pull back on blinker switch), but no high or low beams when I turn on the switch. I can still dim the dash lights.

All other lights and electrics seem to be fine.

Any help?

Most likely the headlight switch is bad or is not getting power. The power for flash-to-pass doesn't go through the headlight switch.

Grab some appropriate gauge wire. Make a jumper wire to the low beams direct from the battery. Drive home, disconnect the jumper wire.

Switches? We don't have to have no stinking switches!!

Thanks fellas. Was a bit flustered and really busy when I discovered the headlight issue. Didn't search very well apparently.

Got new switch in today. Not too bad to install, but would've been much easier if my wrist hinged the other way.
