need help with turn signal

Ok so since I bought the jeep the turn signal unit has been broken. Its not in the multi unit, it is the actual left turn, right turn selector. How hard is it to replace this?

What year? The 94-96 range requires a tamperproof torx bit (I think it is either T15 or T20, don't recall) as well as a long-shaft standard torx driver (T20 iirc) and some standard phillips drivers and nutdrivers. Hardest part is getting the darn plastic shroud off of the steering column without breaking the retention tabs at the back edge.
