36s and 5.38 gears what speedometer gear?

I feel like such a newbie asking this question lol, but I didn't find any accurate information anywhere for this tire and gear ratio size. Sources varied saying 39 to 42 tooth so which one? I wanna drive around some more around town with the Jeep and would really like to know what speed I am going. I guess i could buy a gps but I have no idea what to look for. Plus I can get a speedo gear for 30 bucks from here which seems cheaper than a gps

P.S.-----technically I am running 5.43 gears cause the rear 9" doesn't allow 5.38s

I guess with that chart it would mean I would need a 39 tooth since you need a 40 tooth with 37s?

can these be found for less than the $70 I am seeing from quadratec, that seems nuts for such a small part.

Call partsmike. Pull your speedo gear, count the teeth then call him. He'll be able to tell you the right one. That's what I did for mine. Apparently Jeep used three different speedo gears stock.
