By a factory service manual. Call your local dealer if you can't find one for sale online. It's well worth the $50-$100 that they go for.

The FSM is undoubtedly your best bet for the details of the particular engine, but it assumes you're familiar with the basic skills and tools involved in a rebuild. I haven't looked recently, but the Chilton manuals (almost totally worthless for particulars on any model) used to have a pretty good section on the generic rebuilding procedures, useful if you've never done stuff like ridge reaming, cylinder honing and plastigaging bearings and the like. There might even be a Chilton or other brand manual that covers engine rebuilding as a subject independent of the particular engine. If you've never done an engine, it would be a handy thing to have. If you do your own rebuild and do it right, the difference in cost will probably buy you all the tools and manuals you'll need, and at the end of the job you'll own them all.

Seems like back in the 70's Petersen's had a good general engine overhaul manual. Might do a search with them.

Tom Monroe's "Engine Builder's Handbook" is an excellent book of that type.
