Is Auto Xray a good scanner for my 95 obd 1 jeep cherokee se?

Looking at buying a auto xray code reader and scanner for my 95 xj 4.0 jeep.

I found one for 40.00 bucks new that comes with the jeep sci plug for under the hood next to the ecu. Thats the way to go right>?

Jeep ’91 - 95 (SCI)

I've had an AutoXray for about 5 years.

To date it's worked flawlessly on all of my jeeps for OBD I and II scanning. It won't pull codes on my 03 WJ relating to EVIC codes etc where a DRB III scanner is neeed. Beyond this, it's worked great.

I've also used it for generic OBDII on Hondas, Toyotos, and Lexus.
