Its more money then i prefer to put into a D30, but I do have accounts using this system on D60 front ends in their plow trucks.
Its a PTO cable setup that eliminates the vacuum problems.
NAPA balkamp number 735-4015. My book says retail is 209.00

As a proper answer to you question. I have used just a little grease on the inside of the lines in an emergency to get it to connect. Line was very dry rotted. That was an emergency in the snow trying to get up a drive way, and off the highway.

posi lock, kit sells for about $150, or you can make it out of a choke cable. Or I have done it with a bike brake cable.
