Some of you may know that I was running a still camera on the drive to and from Moab; I've now finished stitching the images together and creating a video and here it is:

Canon PowerShot A70. I zip tied a small tripod to the passenger head rest, I have software that will control PowerShot cameras; I set that up to take a 1600 x 1200 picture every ten seconds and save only to the laptop (bypassing the CompactFlash card).

Brought the images over to my G5, set Final Cut Pro so that still images were one frame (Using NTSC standards, 29.97 frames per second). Then edited the video (cutting out a lot of my stops) and gave it the soundtrack.

Boom, boom, boom, and boom.

man it's a good thing you cut out all those beer stops or it could have been a long video:D

Coming from someone who has seen that road way too many times in his life.

You don't know how many times I looked at my finger trying to figure that out. I think it must have been a little monkey see monkey do.

Is that video what you call wheeling. It explains a lot.

See, I can't even win when someone does me a favor. Chances are I could have been looking and still not seen it.
