strange eletrical nuttyness

so went wheeling. fried starter. no biggie i have spares. at car wash, at the back of the jeep spraying it down i hear WOOOMP. what in the hell.....i look inside and my air bag went off. horn went bat shit and now i have no indication on my gauges.


i got nothing but it is late. anyone got a clue?
its a 99 with a 4.0 AX15. pretty much stock under the hood.

Probably a short circuit with the clock spring in the steering wheel, clock spring wire harness, or airbag wire harness. You will need a new Airbag Controller, Clock Spring, and Airbag.

And use the low pressure hose at the car wash next time.
