Tranny bellhousing question

let me get our opinion, i just bought another AW4 but the jeep it was in was hit in the side, so one of the conrol arm bolts punctured the bell housing. No visible cracks, but there is small hole. Should I replace this bellhousing or just JB weld it to fill the whole. After mine cracked I am very paranoid and do not want to change my tranny again.

2 hours from your first post? Give it a chance, man!

I'd replace it. It's out, and all you really need is a good bellhousing from a toasted AW4.

if the tranny is out, replace it. Its 4 bolts now, or a whole bunch later...

replace it, it is such an easy task since it will already be dropped. If you go cheap today it will cost ya tomorrow....

Wow.

Depending on the condition I would drill stop the cracks and have it welded by a professional, that has to be cheaper and easier, unless you have access to a freebie bell housing.
