  • '87 XJ Dana 44 Rear Axle
  • Trussed Top & Bottom (the bridge over the diff was professionally welded to the diff, the whole thing was professionally jigged prior to welding to make sure the axle was straight as well). Bottom truss is minimal and does not affect ground clearance at all
  • Bottom of the axle is smooth, no lips to catch on rocks
  • Shock mounts are moved up 1/2" from stock
  • Full case 33-spline Detroit soft locker
  • Alloy USA 33-spline alloy axle shafts (drilled for 5x4.5 and 5x5.5 bolt patterns)
  • 4.88 Yukon Ring & Pinion installed with all new Timken bearings 18,000 miles ago.
It's about as bulletproof as you can make a 44.
100% bolt in for an XJ, comes with e-brake cables, drum brakes, brake pads, etc.
Cost over $2000 to build it up this way.
$1500 firm. Located in AZ 86314. I'll ship it on buyer's dime if necessary.
